TrimGem is a one-stop garment-accessories desk in Guangzhou for apparel brands and distributors. The live pages show what we have listed first — lace, appliques, buttons, hardware. The rest of the trim pack is still quoted from a brief.
The room is small on purpose. The mill that dyes the lace is rarely the shop that plates the buckle. What we own is the path — brief, sample, QC, carton — so those details do not get lost between offices.
You bring the reference, the quantity and the calendar. We bring construction notes, a sample you can hold, and an honest date from Panyu.
EU and US programmes start with papers: mill OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 by article, REACH (including nickel on metal), ISO 9001 mill copies, and ISO / AATCC lab methods on the SKU — not a company-wide stamp. Case studies live on the Case Studies page.

Sampling desk, mill goods and packing — as they look
We do not own every loom. We do sit with the sample, the mill lot and the carton. These are the Guangzhou desk and the goods we QC before they leave Panyu.
Compliance
Papers EU and US buyers put on the PO
A lace mill ticket does not cover a plated buckle. We name the regulation, the article and the wearer, then attach mill copies and lab reports to that SKU — not a generic “we are certified” banner.
REACH
EU chemicals
SVHC communication, azo dyes, lead/cadmium and nickel release (EN 1811 on skin-contact metal). US programmes add CPSIA / Prop 65 language where it applies.
ISO 9001
Mill QMS
Partner workshops with ISO 9001 systems on request. The ticket sits with the mill that dyes or plates — we put the copy in the shipment pack.
ISO tests

Colour fastness (ISO 105 / AATCC), salt spray on hardware (ISO 9227), reports from ISO 17025 labs (SGS, BV, Intertek) when the brand RSL asks.
Tickets are mill-, colour- and lot-specific. We do not print an OEKO-TEX® or ISO mark on this site as if TrimGem itself held one certificate for every trim.

Capacity is not a slogan on a factory gate. It is sampling in Guangzhou, bulk at specialist workshops, and a carton that matches the locked sample.

First reply within one working day (08:00–18:00 China time). A sewable sample from a brief you can hold — then you reject it, wash it, or lock it.

One desk, the right workshop
Lace, embroidery, buttons and hardware do not live on one machine. We place bulk with Guangdong partners who already run that construction, then QC the lot against your sample.
MOQ & repeats
Short runs, then the same piece again
Many SKUs open from about 50 pcs or 50 yards. Repeat orders follow the approved sample — colour, plating and stitch-on details stay on that card.

The live catalogue is a first shelf. Lace, buttons and hardware sit there today; zippers, labels and other garment trims are quoted from the same desk. Send the reference even if you do not see the line yet.

What purchasers send back
The sewable sample matched bulk. Colour and cord thickness did not drift between the first carton and the repeat.
We needed a short run to open a hardware colour, then the same plating on the refill. The packing list actually travelled with the carton.
First reply in a working day, and they said no to a finish they could not stand behind. That saved us a sample week.

First carton matched the 50 m retain. Refill used the same article number — cotton % was not ‘about 60’ on the packing list.
EU · bridal atelier

They sewed the 50 m into two sample gowns, then repeated 150 m. Fibre split on the commercial invoice matched the retain.
US · RTW importer

The 200 m landed with the same sand as the 50 m roll they signed. Fibre on the invoice was the ticket, not a rounded ‘nylon/cotton blend’.
UK · eveningwear

The overlay did not sit dead on the lining in the first fitting. Repeat 100 m used the same article, not a 60/40 cousin.
