Brief. A Portuguese dress mill needed an allover with a cotton-forward hand for a lined summer dress. The hangtag said ivory, not optical white. They would not open a 1,000 m dye lot.
Work. Quoted DI320517T as written on the mill ticket: Nylon 40.1% / Cotton 59.9%. Lab-dipped ivory against their shell, locked gsm and motif repeat on a 50 m opening (the published MOQ), then bulk 300 m from the same warp.
Result. First carton matched the 50 m retain. Refill used the same article number — cotton % was not ‘about 60’ on the packing list.
Allover lace fails when the fibre split on the invoice does not match what the mill actually warped. DI320517T is one of the cotton-blend yardage articles we keep on the live shelf. The mill ticket, not a moodboard, is what went to bulk.
