Brief. A New York RTW label needed a sculpted gold sew-on as a statement on a black crepe dress. Plating had to match a scarf ring they already approved — not a new ‘gold’.

Work. X2-BTN-01, live sculpted-gold button. We plated a retain next to their approved ring, locked the gold under D65, and QC’d bulk against that pair.

Result. Dress buttons and the scarf ring read as one metal in the showroom. Refill named X2-BTN-01, not ‘gold button’.
