Lace
Ready-to-wear teams still want narrow Raschel galloons with a clean eyelash and a stated stretch. Bridal teams still want chemical-lace motifs and heavier embroidered edges, then discover the metre price when the dress is a 200-piece run. We have been pushing the construction name onto the first swatch card so that conversation happens before the PPS.
Buttons and hardware
Sew-on demand has stayed with horn-look urea/polyester and with plated Zamak faces. The new bit is not the look — it is the test pack. More EU programs arrive with EN 1811 already on the RFQ. That is overdue and welcome. Antique brass without a sealed standard still wastes a week.
Snaps and eyelets come through when a lace-up or a knit is on the line. We would rather see the fabric stack in the first email than a diameter on its own.
Cords
Hood cords remain easy to sell and easy to get wrong on children’s sizes. Adult streetwear still wants a round nylon with a branded stopper. We keep EN 14682 next to the cord board on purpose.
